Project Work Tracking App

Work items tracked by project and assignee with automatic delay days, so management sees what is late without chasing.

The challenge

Work assigned across live projects was tracked on a spreadsheet that nobody kept current, so nothing was visible until it was already late.

What we built

Our web app captures each work item against a project and an assignee with a target completion date, computes delay days automatically against the actual completion date, supports a revised date where scope genuinely changes, and moves finished items into a separate completed register so the active list stays short enough to be useful. Management can see what is open, what is late and by exactly how many days without chasing anyone for a status update. It runs alongside the expense app we built for the same firm, on the same Google Workspace account.

The result

Before: stale spreadsheet. Now: live delay tracking.
