The challenge
Supplier invoices physically travel from Stores to Quality (IQC) to Finance, and documents regularly went missing with no accountability.
What we built
We built a barcode-based tracking system: each invoice gets a barcode, every department scans it on receipt using a mobile camera, and the system records who held which document and when. A dashboard shows the current location of every invoice with a complete movement history - lost documents and payment delays caused by missing paperwork have disappeared.
