The challenge
Daily orders arrived as a matrix - items down the rows, customers across the columns - and an accountant spent one to two hours a day keying the invoices into Tally.
What we built
We built a converter that reads the matrix together with a price-list sheet, flattens it into customer-wise sales vouchers with rates and amounts, maintains a running voucher number between sessions, and processes a whole folder of order files in one go with built-in validation. Invoice entry now takes seconds, with no missed or duplicated vouchers.
